Trail Runner | Mental Health Advocate | Endu1 Athlete
Miah Noble is a rising star in the Australian trail running scene with a story that embodies courage, resilience, and unstoppable ambition. At just 20 years old, Miah has transformed from a teenager struggling with anorexia, ADHD, and OCD into one of the country’s most exciting endurance athletes.
She discovered running during the COVID-19 lockdowns in 2020, starting with 5km runs and quickly falling in love with the freedom it gave her — especially the silence it brought to a noisy, overactive mind. But behind her fast rise was a silent battle with mental health. Diagnosed with anorexia at 16, Miah hit rock bottom before choosing to fight for her health and rediscover her strength.
After suffering stress fractures in both legs, Miah was introduced to trail running by her partner, fellow ultra runner Tom Dade. It was on the trails where she found healing, purpose, and a new passion that would fuel her comeback. Her fearless racing style, relentless mindset, and raw honesty have made her both a competitive force and a role model for young athletes navigating their own challenges.
Since stepping into the sport, Miah has racked up impressive race results:
- 1st female, 5th overall – Rapid Ascent Silvan Trail Run (22km)
- 1st female, 5th overall – Adelaide Trail Runners Wonderland Run (50km)
- 1st female, 5th overall – Rapid Ascent Surf Coast Century (50km)
- 3rd female, 11th overall – Single Track Roller Coaster Trail Run (23km)
- 1st female, 2nd overall – Great Southern Endurance Run (56km)
- 1st female, 5th overall – Two Bays Trail Run (56km)
- 1st female, 11th overall – Warburton Trail Fest Donna Double VK (22km)
Miah’s ultimate goal? To become the best female trail runner in the world. But beyond the podiums, she’s on a mission to inspire the next generation — showing young people that it’s possible to rise, to heal, and to chase big dreams no matter where you’ve come from.
